The Lopez Island School PIP (primary intervention program) is seeking new child associates to work with K-3 students using child directed play therapy for the 2017-18 school year. PIP has a long history of providing a safe, nurturing environment to children referred to the program for social and emotional support. Child directed play therapy is recognized nation wide as an important early intervention component to successful development. Child associates will be given training and supervision by the PIP coordinator and school counselor/ PIP co-coordinator.

If you enjoy working with children, would like to learn more about child directed play, and have at an hour or more a week during school hours to be in the play room, please contact:
