Has anyone else noticed a light in the sky, starting around 10:20pm in the western sky, in the direction of San Juan island, heading due west over Vancouver Island? It is about 20 degrees above the horizon. It seems to move from south to north, and pivots on axis left to right and right to left. Just curious. I have never seen anything like it before. I have seen it now for 6 nights in a row, same time, same place. I see the light for about 45 minutes and then it just "turns off".... disappears.

Kevin, when you see this light, how fast does it move? Within the 45 minutes, does it change direction one or more times? How high is it above the horizon? Does it get closer to the horizon during the 45 minutes?

Kevin,....Wondering if you're convinced, or is it different than Venus?

Venus... what a trickster she can be as she delights our eyes and dances across the night.
