Providing resources and guidance necessary for basic needs, offering educational engagement programs, and advocating for a just and equitable community.
In 2018, 39% of Lopez had insufficient income for a basic survival budget. This creates a great deal of stress for hard-working individuals, families and seniors.
LIFRC maintains a compassionate community safety net for 695 children and adults based on a deep understanding of the needs of all types of community members, from birth to old age. We are also actively engaged in individual, organizational, and community growth and self-improvement.
LIFRC staff build strong trusting relationships with clients. We believe this is a crucial foundation to fully understand past traumas but also celebrate the talents and skills each person has. Community members know we believe in them and their abilities.
